Our story
The problem was real. We had lived it.
Rich Walker didn't read about the problem in a market report. He lived it across four businesses: a rental equipment company, an equipment parts distributor, a marine dock operation, and a pest control fleet. Different industries, same core question nobody could answer: what does this equipment actually cost me? Not just the purchase price. The downtime. The emergency repairs. The parts that took days to source. The machines sitting idle between jobs. The true cost of equipment was invisible, and every decision made without it was a guess.
After years of working around tools that weren't built for people like him, Rich decided to do something about it. He partnered with Eric Norberg, whose West Coast product design and engineering skills could turn the vision into reality, and Todd Martin, who has spent his career building and scaling technology companies. Together they built Torgix: an AI-powered platform that finally gives equipment owners the visibility to know what their assets truly cost, and the intelligence to do something about it.
Not software designed in a conference room. A solution built by owners who felt every one of these problems firsthand.
