The point is not the data. The point is what stops falling through the cracks once the data flows.
When a machine crosses its service interval, the PM comes due on its own. Nobody walks the yard with a clipboard, and nobody finds out at 280 hours that the 250-hour service never happened.
The fault lands in Torgix with the machine attached and a work order open, often before the operator has finished the shift. Small problems get caught while they are still small problems.
Hours, location, and faults land on the same asset record as work orders, parts, and costs. True cost per hour gets computed from real hours, not the number somebody remembered to write down.
An admin does this once. After that it runs on the schedule you picked.
In Torgix, an admin opens the Integrations panel. Samsara is listed under Telematics.
Add your Samsara credentials and Torgix matches your tracked units to your Torgix assets.
Choose how often Torgix pulls. From then on, hours advance your service intervals and faults are watched, around the clock.
The parts of an integration page most vendors leave out. We would rather you know exactly how it behaves before you connect it.
A lower reading from the vendor never overwrites a higher one in Torgix. Your PM clock is protected by design, even if a device gets reset or recalibrated.
