Delete Your Torgix Account

This page covers the Torgix mobile app for Android and iOS as well as the Torgix web application at app.torgix.ai. They are the same account.

1. Delete it yourself in the app

This is the fastest route and takes effect immediately.

1. Open the Torgix app on your phone, or sign in at app.torgix.ai.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Scroll to the Delete account section.
4. Open Delete my account, confirm with your password, and submit.

You will be asked to re-enter your password first. If your account was created by an invitation or uses single sign-on and has no password, you confirm by typing your own email address instead. This step exists so an accidental tap cannot delete your account.

2. Ask us to delete it

If you have already uninstalled the app, cannot sign in, or would simply rather we did it, email us and we will delete the account for you.

You do not need an active subscription, and you do not need the app installed, to make this request.

3. What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes the personal information Torgix holds about you, including:

• Your name, email address, phone number, job title, and profile details.
• Your password and any single sign-on link to your account.
• Any device sign-in you have registered, including fingerprint or Face ID unlock. The credential stored on your phone stops working and is removed from our records.
• Your notification and reminder settings.
• Your session and activity history tied to you as an individual.

4. What is kept, and why

Torgix is used by companies to run their equipment. Work orders, inspections, maintenance records, and check-outs that you created while working for a company remain with that company's account after you leave.

Those records belong to your employer, not to you personally. They are their operational and, in many cases, regulatory compliance history. Deleting a company's inspection records because an employee left would be wrong, and for safety and compliance records it may be unlawful.

5. If you are the last administrator

If you are the only remaining administrator of your company's Torgix account, deleting just yourself would leave the company with nobody able to administer it. So Torgix offers a different action instead.

In Settings, under Delete account, open Close the company account and type your company name to confirm. This closes the entire company account, including every user and all of its records.

A company closure is reversible for 30 days in case of a mistake. After 30 days the company and all of its data are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

If you would prefer to hand the company over rather than close it, make someone else an administrator first, then delete your own account normally.

6. How long it takes

• Deleting your own account in the app: immediate.
• Deletion requested by email: completed within 30 days of us verifying the request, usually much sooner.
• Closing a company account: 30-day grace period, then permanently purged.

Residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for a short period and are removed as those backups age out on their normal cycle. We may retain a limited record of the deletion itself, and any information we are required to keep for legal, tax, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.
