Three things this AI will not do, and why the constraints are the feature
Everybody's software has AI now. Here is what ours will not do. It will not touch your data. It will not invent an answer. And it will not act without you.
Ask it a question and it reads your actual records, then answers with the machine, the number, and where the number came from.
It is read-only by design. It can look. It can never touch. Your data cannot be edited by a model, because the model was never given a pen.
When it drafts a plan, the steps, the parts, the warranty check, nothing runs until a human ticks the box. The AI does the digging. You stay the boss.

Every vendor in this category now has AI on the website, which makes the word close to useless as a way of telling products apart. Capability claims are hard to check in a demo, because a demo is a rehearsed path. Constraints are much easier to check, because a constraint either holds when you push on it or it does not.
So the three lines in this video are deliberately negative. It will not write to your data. It will not answer past what it can see in your records. It will not take an action on your behalf without you approving it.
Read only is the one worth understanding first. If an assistant can write, then a misread question can change a work order, a cost allocation, or an asset record, and you will find out later. If it can only read, the worst case is a wrong answer you can check. That is a much smaller blast radius, and it is why the answers come back with the machine, the number, and where the number came from attached. The citation is not decoration. It is what makes the answer falsifiable.
The approval step is the same idea applied to actions. The assistant can draft the work order and stage the part. A person still confirms it.
